The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) allows us to work with your doctor and receive your repeat prescriptions through a secure electronic system. This will allow us to deliver your repeat medication for free to your chosen address or a neighbour. The EPS service is only available to patients in England.

Do I need to pay for my prescription?

The current NHS prescription charge is £8.80 per item however certain groups in England are exempt from this charge.

If you need to pay for your NHS prescription, we will usually contact you to take payment over the phone by credit/debit card. Alternatively, you can contact us to pay over the phone or pay online by adding the NHS Prescription Item Charge to your cart.I have to pay for my prescription, how do I pay?

What does the electronic prescription service mean for me?

You will no longer have to collect your prescription from your GP, instead your GP wills end them electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. You will have more flexibility about where to get your medicines as you can choose any pharmacy who offers EPS. 

I am from Scotland or Wales, can I use the Electronic Prescription Service?

Unfortunately, we are only able to receive prescriptions electronically from surgeries in England who are registered to send Electronic prescriptions, over 98% of surgeries are registered in England. For patients in Scotland and Wales, you can send us a paper prescription to the address below. However, unless your are exempt from paying for your prescriptions based on the NHS England exemptions, you would have to pay a charge per item.

I have a paper prescription, can you deliver my medication?

Yes, we would need to have the original prescription before we can deliver your medication. You could contact us to arrange for your prescription to be sent to us, we would either send you a return envelope or arrange for your prescription to be collected. Alternatively, you can post your prescription to: Signature Pharmacy, 6 The Marlins, Northwood, HA6 3NP.

How soon will I receive my medication? 

As soon as we receive your prescription from your doctor, we will dispatch your medication on the same day if we have them in stock. Royal Mail usually deliver your medication within 1 working day. If your postcode is within the M25, we can deliver your medication on the same day. 

I receive receive regular repeat medication, how does this service work? 

Once you sign up to our EPS service, we will be able to receive and order your repeat prescriptions directly from your GP. Around seven days before your repeat medication is finished, you can order your prescription from your surgery or through us by phone or email. We will then receive your prescription electronically from your GP and deliver to your medication to your door before you run out.
