We understand how hard it can be to find time to visit your GP or pharmacy to collect your repeat prescriptions. With out free prescription delivery service, you can have your medication delivered directly to your door.

Nominate us as your pharmacy and benefit from our excellent customer service and free NHS prescription delivery service

With the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), your doctor can send us your prescriptions through a secure electronic system. This will allow our pharmacists to dispense your medication and deliver to your repeat medication for free to your chosen address or a neighbour.

*Some surgeries require you to order your repeat medication directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

The current NHS prescription charge is £8.80 however certain groups in England are exempt from this charge. You won’t have to pay if you:
  • A - Under 16
  • B - Are 16, 17 or 18 and in full-time education
  • C - Are 60 years old or over
  • D - Are pregnant or have had a baby in the previous 12 months and have a valid maternity exemption certificate
  • E - Have a specified medical condition and have a valid medical exemption certificate
  • F - Have a valid prescription pre-payment certificate
  • G -Have a valid war payment exemption certificate and the prescription is for your accepted disability
  • L - Are named on a current HC2 certificate
  • X - Were prescribed contraceptives
  • H - Gets income support or income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • K - Get Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
  • M - Are entitled to or named on a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate
  • S - Have a partner who gets Pension Credit guarantee credit (PCGC)
If you are exempt from paying for your prescription, please let us know by contacting us - we may also ask you to submit evidence of any exemption before dispensing your medication. Falsely claiming exemption will result in a fine should you be investigated by NHS Protect
Once we receive your prescription, we will contact you by email and send you a link to a secure website where you can pay for prescription charge.

You will no longer have to collect your prescription from your GP, instead your GP can send them electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. You will have more flexibility about where to get your medicines as you can choose any pharmacy who offers EPS.
By nominating Signature Pharmacy to receive your prescription, you will benefit from our free medication delivery service across England.
Unfortunately, we are only able to receive prescriptions electronically from surgeries in England who are registered to send Electronic prescriptions, over 98% of surgeries are registered in England. For patients in Scotland and Wales, you can send us a paper prescription to the address below. However, unless your are exempt from paying for your prescriptions based on the NHS England exemptions, you would have to pay a charge per item.
Yes, we would need to have the original paper prescription before we can dispatch your medication. You can post your prescriptions to: Signature Pharmacy, 6 The Marlins, Northwood, HA6 3NP
If you have signed up to our EPS service, the fastest way to order your prescription would be directly with your GP. Depending on your surgery, this could either be online, over the phone, in person or through prescription ordering direct.
If you prefer us to order your prescriptions, you can place your order by calling 0330 111 0440 (option 1), by email ccare@signaturepharmacy.co.uk or using our online prescription ordering form.
You should order your prescriptions around seven days before you are due to run out. This will give us and your surgery enough time to ensure you do not run out of your medication.
Some surgeries in England do not allow pharmacies to order on behalf of patients. This is a new initiative to help reduce medicine wastage. If we are unable to order medication from your surgery on your behalf, you can order your medication directly with the surgery either by phone, in person or online (this varies depending on surgeries). Your surgery will then send us your prescription and we will deliver your medication to you.
As soon as we receive your prescription from your doctor, we aim to dispatch your medication within 24 working hours by Royal Mail. On some occasions, if your address is within the M25 would be able to deliver your prescription on the same day.
For most medicines we are able to use a non-signed for delivery service so you would not have to sign for your medication. If you have been prescribed a controlled drug, you would be required to sign for your delivery.
